I’ve I mentioned in previous posts I use to spend a lot of time in the car. In fact, most of my meals were eaten while driving down the highway. But now that we have officially moved to Grand Lake,CO I am proud to say I eat at home at least twice a day and pack a lunch to eat at the store, which by the way is only five walking minutes from the house. This is the view from the front of the store , but last night this was view from deck.
I love high heels, I like to buy them, collect them and wear them, but now I’m questioning the future of my heel collection. Not only are they unfashionable but fairly dysfunctional in a mountain town, in the summer it’s about hiking, biking and water sport, and the winter, cross country skiing, snowshoeing and just staying warm and dry. I just don’t know where 4″ inch heels fits here? Any ideas on how to make hiking boots sexy?
Life is so interesting every day. As we are completing our move to Grand Lake and getting ready for the summer season, things are so hectic it’s easy to forget some of the reasons why we have decided to leave the big city for high mountain living. Well, today we have been reminded. My mom is in Colorado to celebrate the graduation of my nephew Scott from Western State in Gunnison, CO.
Tomorrow May 3, 2014 we are officially full time residences of Grand Lake, Colorado. What makes tomorrow the official day? The kitty cats are getting in their kitty carries and moving to their new home, with a new view and a new kitty condo. I hope they love it, but what’s not to love. I can’t wait for them to see a moose!
